Born from the partnership of developers of the cult Disney and Squaresoft legend, what could be expected t more special than the wonderful Kingdom Hearts!
We did not wrong, incredibly gorgeous graphics and characters that both epics revisit Square and Disney, Kingdom Hearts is pure pleasure to play as well as watching!
So, play as Sora, a young boy about 14 years living quietly on his island, surrounded by his friends, Rikku and Kairi. Their wish is to travel and discover new worlds (they are still prisoners of their island) and want to find the one where does Kairi (the charming young girl whose love Sora seems ^ ^).
Sora is a young boy whose sleep is troubled by strange dreams. Premonitions or simple inventions of his mind? Difficult for him to say they all look so real. But what worries him most at the moment is to prepare the raft on which he plans to leave his native island with his friends Kairi and Rikku to discover other worlds. But the forces of evil have decided otherwise and chose the night before the big departure for attacking the island. Sora finds himself separated from his friends in a world completely unknown. His meeting with Donald and Goofy will teach him that he is the master of the keyblade and the No-heart, evil creatures that destroy 1 to 1 All the worlds and captured the heart of their inhabitants, are searching for it is the only one who can stop them. But Sora is determined to find his friends.
Donald and Goofy presented early by alternating scenes are very fun to look for their missing king, and are responsible for accompanying the bearer of the Keyblade to assist in its mission: to close the locks of every world to slow down the progress and destroy the shadows and darkness ...
On board the Gummi ship, Sora will discover all sorts of worlds, to deliver the seven princesses of heart, chase the shadows and close locks.
It is with joy that we rediscover the rabbit hole of Alice, the jungle Tarzan, the Colosseum of Hercules, the boat's captain hook, the ocean of Arielle ... and many other worlds!
Who said mixture of characters, also called mixture of genres. Kingdom Hearts Final Fantasy borrows from the strengths of role-playing game (progression of the character by gaining experience, inventory management and equipment, magic, invocations) and games from Disney side platforms . It controls the main character, Sora, a view in the third person. If a group contains other characters, usually the magician Donald and Goofy guard (but you can sometimes replace the hero of the world where Sora is), they will be managed by the console. AI is also very well done because besides the fact that your companions can attack, cast a spell or heal a group member, all these actions are fully configurable. We can choose to attack a person primarily a distance if it has spells to make him use a potion just in case of need, etc.. Moreover, there is not here to fight in turn based like in a Final Fantasy, and you end up with gameplay close beat'em all, hitting the enemies coming from all sides. But although the game offers quite a number of different enemies, battle can become boring if we go back often in the same place to solve puzzles (the enemy back if you go to other parts of the level and you back then).
Throughout the adventure you will find many items such as rings or necklaces to increase the protection of your character, of course potions to back gauges hit points and magic weapons for the characters secondary (Sora still keeps his keyblade, but may improve with key chains that will increase the capacity of the weapon and change its appearance). Very special objects are hidden in some boxes or are left as a reward after a fight: they are Gummi blocks. Assembled like Lego pieces from a very intuitive interface (it's a nightmare as he must use buttons to rotate the view, drop items, navigate menus, etc.), they can build spaceships along planes found throughout the adventure, or from your imagination. These devices are used to travel between different worlds and you will collect many blocks you can create a powerful vessel. Trips are a little like in Starfox Adventures, and are also too poorly made. It steers the ship seen from behind and the prospect is so poorly made that it is often paid asteroids or elements of the scenery, thinking to be out of their trajectory. Also some routes are long, repetitive and boring and uninteresting if it is harvested a few shots of ships or a few extra blocks. Too bad, this shoot'em up side could vary if the adventure had been refined.
The combat system is unique, the game is fairly easy to take in hand, despite some very difficult levels. You have as a key weapon symbolic key to save your friends to save the world, opening the door to the heart of your beloved and of course you open to other ...
The kinematics for these creations are worthy of Squaresoft. Mixture between graphics worked very way Final Fantasy and more simplistic images in the minds of Disney, the result is a magical charm to the game is modeled in detail and have fun along the adventure to connect the characters and objects to the cartoons of our childhood. Besides that, all the Disney characters have their original voice and those of Square are also flanked by French voices very well made, quite rare in games to be noticed. The music has suffered the same care and stick perfectly to the action.
In short, waiting impatiently for the upcoming release of Kingdom Hearts 2, we let you discover this game memorable, you will have the full view!
