The manga is a little bit like an encyclopedia of parallel movements, more underground stuff. After attacking the rock with Beck and Nana, roller skating with Air Gear or tuning in with Initial D is the metal that interests our favorite prints. And to our delight. Go To DMC!

Death metal is a style of wimps. No song lyric chicks or phrasing from the rap here, as large rhythmic hundred miles an hour and a cavernous vocals straight out of hell. This style plays Detroit Metal City, the group most promising of its kind in Japan and one on the worst circulating rumors. Composed of three demons from hell, the band has many fans, all to the cause of Jagi the fire-breathing bassist, drummer Camus supersonic and Krauser, the emperor's death metal. The latter is particularly popular, and feared, since it seems he killed his parents and formed the group after being released from prison. It also seems he lives in hell and he leaves his residence evil that at some concerts. Worse than Chuck Norris, it is not really the kind of person to whom it spits. Except in civil, Krauser is not as scary, far away. Soichi Negishi is taking his face the night and the day is closer to the first class of the devil. Fan of Swedish pop and good taste (he likes anything that is connected), Negishi is a sensitive and tender, just the opposite of the character he plays dirty. Hating it is in DMC, it can not leave the group so far as tyrannized by the Boss, metal involved group and the iron fist, which would be quite capable of killing Negishi finds himself ... So embedded in this macabre masquerade, for better and mostly for the worse.

Needless to beat around the bush for ten years: DMC is probably the funniest manga in recent years, see the funniest. It instantly ranks alongside the GTO and others, starting his first book. I must say it is hard to resist mishaps Negishi. Like a fallen angel in hell or a rose on a pile of shit, the tender young man is truly full of cum. As you can see, the manga picks a rather vulgar humor and direct (see suddenly). If you are allergic to profanity and vulgarity, stop reading this review: it's the only thing in DMC. The worst obscenities we are obvious on every page (almost), and when they are not verbal, they are graphic. We can not count the number of times Krauser mime various sexual acts and varied, it falling almost to infinity. Even the other characters are there: between those who want to defecate into the mouth and those in picolent, taking a little fellatio, while keeping dangerous snakes around the neck, there's plenty to do in DMC at insanities . If you wish to offer a first manga to your child of seven years is not necessarily one that you recommend. Basically, the manga is in the same spirit as the music that inspired it: without compromise.
Krauser's character embodies this perfectly, since it is a real monster of charisma. For even if we know that it's a small guy cutting bowl behind the big hair Mephistophelian, one can not help but see two distinct beings, as if Krauser there by himself. Moreover, apart from some inner thoughts Negishi in certain situations, it often turns into this totally Satanic monster. But the author does not forget to make it irresistibly funny, small mountain of affection from occasionally brighten the face of metal.

But if Negishi has barely contain her "other man", it is hardly helped by his entourage. Starting with the Boss, real fury not hesitate to hit when angry. Just look at the chapter where she arrived home to decorate his pad for a little more hell to see it will stop at nothing, ready to Negishi drugs to make it a little less uptight. Moreover, the poor boy can not really rely on two other group members. Wada (aka Jagi bassist) is a bit cowardly toady who is not the type to rebel against the Boss. Rather fan of J-rock, he hopes to lead DMC towards international success, which is sometimes Negishi in difficult situations. As for Nishida (which turns into Camus, drummer) is a type mysteriously disturbing. Always wear a wicked little smile and talk, whispering, it seems rather dangerous if one refers to his actions. Negishi clearly can not count on them and there is also no illusions at this level. But the worst are still fans of DMC. Completely deficient, they fiercely believe in everything said Krauser, convinced that he is truly hell. They are the type to gather in town to do stupid things on behalf of DMC, which creates in Negishi guilt. Because he is afraid that these fanatics do not create problems on the highway, he felt obliged to disguise himself as Krauser for calm and farts ... a cable and did worse than them! Undeniably, the world of metal influences Negishi, harmful by the brave man who is actually the reader lambda (lambda meaning "non-metallic). Like many, he sees them as crazy, not helped by the specimens he meets. Among members who devote Deazm worship excrement, which sacrifices Helvete fans and Jack Il Dark which takes a bull on stage, it is not easy to have a favorable opinion of these brave people. The author has nevertheless clearly identified that are metallic or at least most of them: people loud and sometimes a little lower brow, but ultimately passionate and touching. For if the fans are often fools for aggressive early, they will finally show enough nice and devoted to Krauser thereafter. It is actually rather surprising to learn that the mangaka do not like the metal as he seems to know (he knows the pedigree of style, he has documented evidence and did not fall within easy shots) but basically, it's not worse. If he was a fierce defender of this music, he would have made all this so funny? Doubt is enabled.

Although CGD is a purely humorous manga and it just abandons the musical side (we can not say that this is death metal is especially important here), it is not a bottomless for manga provided. And oddly, this is not necessarily the middle of the metal, which is depicted with exaggerated (since metallers do not really like that), which is the most fun. What is surprising is the psychology of Negishi / Krauser. As stated above, the young man changes regularly personality to become as commonplace as he plays the role, which is causing many problems. But paradoxically, when the real character of the boy appears in full concert of DMC, it is more beneficial to the group. The skills acquired by Negishi when he lived with his parents enable farmers to avoid including some tricky situations. Should we see in it something like "normalcy prevails on the metal, which is harmful from A to Z?". Not because the metal is too Negishi. For a manga parody DMC treats still quite the psychology of his heroes, more than we might think at first. And it's the same level graphics. If the early chapters were not equipped with the most attractive designs available, the author has improved very quickly and eventually honed his manga. Finally, DMC is a manga with no real flaws. We may perhaps think it is ultimately quite uneven but all the sketches may be difficult to quality. The work does speak, perhaps not for everyone either. While being interested in the metal is not an important condition (those who do not laugh, perhaps more beautiful), by cons should not be too resistant to the crude humor and wicked. Because DMC is not in lace and leaves Krauser ruin the most touching moments with rare aggressiveness. Some metallers will perhaps also bugged that parody their world, they should rather rejoice because DMC debunks many prejudices, proving that game macabre scene does not mean members macabre in real life. No, find fault with DMC is like finding a needle in a haystack. View in a stable whole. In a nutshell: religion.
