Concerning the graphics, they are sublime and the generic is no exception, however, those who watch the movie will be amazed by the poetic images and the superb opening "Lilium" in Latin, will you stay in your ears long. How can we make as cute graphics and a colorful animated as bloody, and when the heroine is Lucy mode it look scary, but in fashion Nyu she has big cute eyes, she embodies the desire but also innocence.

The contrast between the opening so sweet and poetic, and the first scenes of Elfen Lied is amazing, to start a series mixing ecchi and gore, it sets the tone immediately.

Beware if you're looking for gore, you might be disappointed by the turn of the anime. And for those who remain unsatisfied at the end of the anime, read manga in, it takes a new direction soon!
